Welcome to Reward Alliance

The Reward Alliance is a group of independent reward consultants.  We are all run our own consultancy practices.  We work either independently or when our combined expertise can add most value to support our clients we work together.  This is a model of consultancy that we all support – bringing together the best mix of expertise to meet our client needs.

The Reward Alliance is an affiliation of people who trust each other.  We have either worked together or have experience of each others’ work.  We have a broad range of skills and knowledge, so between us have a wealth of experience that enables us to provide the most cost-effective service to clients – bringing in the right people at the right time – all of whom are experienced practitioners and advisors.

Some of us have a stronger orientation towards remuneration. Others in the Alliance have expertise in making a link between performance and reward – from establishing first principles through to design of  performance review and development processes and tools, including competency frameworks, assessment techniques etc.  Others have a broad range of people management experience as senior HR practitioners and in implementing reward policies and practices.

There is one thing we all have in common; a strong belief that reward policies and practices in organisations should be fair and ethical.  This means designing reward systems that go beyond money and recognise that compensation systems signal the values and morals upon which the organisation operates.  This means being fair in how the reward budget is allocated, in the processes that are used to manage reward and in communicating openly to people.  It means doing what is ‘right’ and not just what is practical, feasible or profitable.
